Welcome!
Our purpose is to share the pure joys, simple pleasures, and incredible
excitement of sailing.
Please feel free to browse around.
We hope you enjoy sailing and just plain being on and around the water as much as we do.
We appreciate and encourage suggestions. This will be a better site with your input! We
actively solicit articles, pictures, suggestions for useful techniques or products, or pretty much anything that shares the
pleasures of sailing. See the "Contact Us" page for information on submissions.
Please Note: We are NOT just about sailboats! Yes, we LOVE sailing. However,
we love being on and around the water. We have and will continue to own both sail-powered and engine-powered (and human-powered)
boats. Sail boats, Power boats, Paddle boats, and anything else that gets us out on the water are what we enjoy!
We do have a bias in favor of sailing, but we do not have any bias against other boats!

On this site you'll find information about sailing, boating, boats, cruising, racing, and just plain enjoying
time on the water. Want to cruise? race? sail? daysail? Just "mess about" on boats? You are in the right place!
You may find humorous references to "Rag Flappers", "StinkPotters", and "People Floppers" (Sailboats, Powerboats,
and Paddle Boats - Canoes/Kayaks). We enjoy them all, and don't mind at all poking fun (harmless fun) at the prejudices
and vagaries of those who strongly prefer one over the others.
You will find stories, pictures, videos, helpful hints/instruction, and hopefully, useful ideas.
Our intent is not only to share our own love of time on the water, but also to introduce the joys (and even the
not-so-joyful) aspects of this wonderful activity to those who may not yet be familiar with it.
