GRITS   -- This acronym could be interpreted several ways.  Probably the best known (and my personal favorite) is "Girls Raised In The South".  It could also mean one of the best breakfast foods available. However, in this case, it refers to Gulf Region Interstate Trailer Sailors, a somewhat loosely organized and totally unofficial group of some of the best and friendliest sailors to be found anywhere on the Gulf Coast.  They organize and host the annual B.E.E.R. (Backwater Environmental Escape Rendezvous) Cruise in the Pensacola area each year. Sail boats, Power boats, and People-powered Boats

	eBay - Just may be the best place on the internet to find anything you could possibly want, and at a great price!  Almost anything imaginable can be found there.  It may seem just a bit intimidating and mysterious at first, but their instructions are great and their security is excellent!  If you are not already familiar with them, take a look around, see what you like, maybe even bid on something.  You set the limits! We routinely use eBay to find, compare, purchase, and sell items.  Enjoy!

	Sea Eagle Boats - everything from large and powerful inflatable boats, to good practical dinghys, to inflatable kayaks.  Excellent service, excellent products, reasonable prices.   Many of their dinghys and kayaks fold up small enough to be practical in smaller boats, RV's, car trunks, etc.  A great way to get out on the water, with a larger boat or all by itself.

Marine-Related Products, Fun Stuff, Toys, Boat Repair, Supplies, Materials, etc.

	West Marine - the granddaddy of marine chandleries.  Started out selling rope from the garage of its founder, grew into the largest marine retailer around.  Their slogan is, "We Make Boating More Fun!".  They live up to it.  We have used them extensively for years and have always been impressed by their "Customer First!" attitude.  Almost anything you could want for boats, watersports, or anything related.

	Bass Pro Shops - The fishing and hunting superstore, also a major supplier of boating gear in general.  These folks have literally anything you could want or dream of having for fishing and hunting, and quite a few other things.  They even have a wide variety of boats and motors!  We have been a customer for years and have always been highly satisfied with their service, products, and integrity.

	Boaters World - A wide variety of marine and marine-related products available on-line, via catalog, and at retail stores. They are relatively new to us, though we now have a good bit of experience with them.  We have been impressed by their customer-oriented attitude and eagerness to ensure their customers are happy.

Art and Artists

	Laura Griffith Art , the on-line gallery of the beautiful work of a highly talented artist.  Laura also happens to be a highly skilled and experienced sailor, who travels by boat all along the Gulf Coast, with her husband Charlie Jones, who is also a highly accomplished sailor and a master boatbuilder.  Laura creates her art in several mediums and both sells existing works as well as occasionally working with clients who want to commission a certain type of item.  We have some of her work in our homes and offices, and will likely acquire more in the future.  It is well worth your time to visit this gallery.
