These projects may be small and simple, like fabricating snap straps to hold lines, or major and
complicated, like completely restoring an old boat to beautiful and functional condition.
All are related to boating, sailing, paddling, or just plain enjoying time on the water.
Whether you are interested in a particular project, or just getting ideas, the intent is that these projects be useful,
informative, and hopefully even inspiring.
In some cases, the projects will be both illustrative of things you can do on your own (the DIY of the boating / sailing
world) as well as also offering the final result of the project as a completed item; highly detailed plans/drawings; or
possibly in kit form; available for purchase. Whenever that occurs, there will be clear information on how to
procure the items.
In any case, simply reading these Project Pages is always your authorization to use the information however you

Interior Wood Restoration
This beautiful work was done on an old Hunter 22 as part of a major overhaul
of what had been a rather sorry-looking old, neglected boat.
The methods used are similar to the old process of "taking off lines" of
a boat and are highly useful for any carpentry project requiring fitting to unusual curves, on any type of boat.
As can be seen in the pictures, the final fit and finish quality of this
work is exceptional. This project is just a small part of the author's total (and on-going) restoration of S/V Mystery.
Hopefully, we will see more projects from this craftsman.
